PÄIVI PALTOLA IS APPOINTED CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER OF MARIMEKKO

Päivi Paltola, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed as Marimekko’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and member of the Management Group as of 30 January 2017.

At the moment, Päivi Paltola works for the consumer goods company Fiskars Corporation as Senior Vice President of the Scandinavian Living business unit. She is responsible for brands such as Iittala, Royal Copenhagen, Arabia and Rörstrand as well as their global digital and retail network concept development. Previously she has acted, for example, as Brand Director and Category Manager at the Finnish cosmetic company Lumene. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Design Museum.
