Hexagon Smart M.App(R) Wins Wichmann Innovation Award 2016

HAMBURG, GERMANY--(Marketwired - October 27, 2016) - Incident Analyzer, a Hexagon Smart M.App from Hexagon Geospatial took home the Wichmann Innovations Award for Best Software at INTERGEO 2016 in Hamburg, Germany. The award was presented by Wichmann Verlag, a publisher well-known for their expertise in professional magazines and specialist books for geodesy and geomatics.

Companies from around the globe submitted products and applications to participate in the competition. From hundreds of submissions, a jury of industry leaders selected 10 products and applications to receive votes from the general public. The main criteria for the award were innovation, user-friendliness and practicality.

The Antiquities Coalition used this Smart M.App in their #CultureUnderThreat Task Force report which informed the U.S. Senate's recent ban on importing and trafficking of illicit objects.
