On 26th October 2016, UAB Merko Statyba, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, has entered into a contract with UAB Philip Morris Lietuva, to perform reconstruction and extension construction works of Klaipeda plant, located at Vilnius plentas 16, Klaipeda.
The scope of the construction works to be performed under the contract by UAB Merko Statyba will include mainly the extension of the current production area and the service storage building.
The value of the contract is approximately 11 million euros, plus value added tax. The construction works will start in November 2016 and are scheduled to complete in January 2018.
