RiverTowne Family Chiropractic Wellness Center Continues Tradition of November Annual Food Drive

ST. CHARLES, Mo., Oct. 30, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Community residents are invited to help the wellness center achieve its annual goal this November of providing 50 needy families with Thanksgiving meals, reports RiverTowne Family Chiropractic Wellness Center. It’s easy to get involved. The first 50 new or inactive patients to donate a minimum of five canned goods receive a free consultation, exam and up to five x-rays. Food and cash donations are welcome in this initiative. In addition to this free care exchange, RiverTowne Family Chiropractic Wellness Center provides a huge party for all patients on November 3rd.

On November 3rd, the party begins and donations start to roll in. Current patients enjoy great food, fun prizes, a festive atmosphere and free adjustments. Care is also extended to the community at large and the team welcomes families and friends. New and inactive patients who donate canned goods receive an assessment, including exam and x-rays as a thank you. The November Annual Food Drive has always seen a great community response and has helped a number of local families enjoy Thanksgiving meals.

Donations are given to the St. Louis Food Bank. The 9th Annual November Food Drive runs from November 1st through the 23rd. New and inactive patients can participate in the special spinal check-up exchange. The November Food Drive and November 3rd party are held at 1362 South 5th Street in St. Charles. A long list of sponsors show their support every year including RT Weilers, Main Street Deli, Country Inn & Suites, and Tony’s on Main.

“We love living in a community that knows the value of giving back to those less fortunate,” said Dr. Edward Bickmeyer. “Our 9th Annual November Food Drive continues our tradition and donations will help feed 50 needy families this Holiday season. Our supporting sponsors and community residents continue to help us with this goal every year. Not only is this our annual food drive, but an opportunity for families and friends to get together at our biggest party of the year on November 3rd and receive FREE chiropractic adjustments. It is heart-warming to know that our patients care about the less fortunate in the community and can be relied upon to help us reach our goal by Thanksgiving. All food and monetary donations are welcome.”
