Emergence Capital Names Former Google, Salesforce and Box Exec Doug Landis as Growth Partner, Strengthens Go-To-Market Expertise and Support

Landis Brings 15 Years High Growth SaaS Sales and Marketing Expertise; Newly Created Role Provides Platform for Firm to Share Best Practices and Expertise


SAN MATEO, Calif., Dec. 05, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Emergence Capital, the leading enterprise cloud venture firm, announced today that Doug Landis has joined the firm as a Growth Partner, a new role Emergence Capital developed to create and share go-to-market strategies and ideas with its portfolio companies and the SaaS community at large.  Landis brings deep sales and marketing expertise to the newly created role, gained during his tenure with industry leaders including Google, Box and Salesforce.

Landis brings more than fifteen years of experience helping train and scale world class enterprise sales organizations at leading companies including Google, Salesforce and most recently Box. Prior to joining Emergence Capital, he spent nearly five years at Box helping start and scale its sales operations as VP of Sales Productivity.  Prior to Box, Doug spent five years at Salesforce, leading Corporate Sales Productivity and at Google as a Sales Training Manager.
