Paris Commercial Court approves acquisition of Viadeo activities by Figaro Classifieds
PARIS (France) - The Paris commercial court approved today the sale of Viadeo SA's activities to Figaro Classifieds, part of Groupe Figaro. Figaro Classified will take possession beginning of January. Viadeo is expected to enter liquidation shortly.
Figaro Classifieds offer has been chosen by the commercial court because it showed best guarantee for the sustainability of the activities sold. Also Figaro Classifieds offer were supported by employees and management. Figaro Classifieds intends to continue serving substantially all of Viadeo's customers and members, who will therefore experience continuity of service.
The trading in Viadeo shares remains suspended.
