Ageas announces additional support for the Fortis settlement

Today Ageas announces that it has reached an agreement with the Luxembourg company Archand s.à.r.l. and affiliated persons ("Archand") to support the Fortis settlement.

On 11 May 2015, Archand initiated proceedings against Ageas and a former Fortis executive before the Amsterdam court, claiming damages because of miscommunication on Fortis' financial position[1].

Ageas welcomes Archand's agreement to support the settlement agreement of 14 March 2016.
