Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (lunch served) This session will feature the launch of Willis Towers Watson’s Global Cyber Risk platform and a robust panel discussion to decode cyber risk, including emerging threats, unintended vulnerabilities and the power of an integrated approach, with an emphasis on evolving risk transfer strategies and innovative human capital solutions.

Panelists:

  • John Haley, CEO, Willis Towers Watson — Keynote
  • Alan Bersin, former Dept. of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Policy and International Affairs and Chief Diplomatic Officer
  • Jenny Novoa, Senior Director of Risk Management, Gap Inc.
  • Greg Treverton, former Chairman, National Intelligence Council

  • Anthony Dagostino, Global Head of Cyber Risk, Willis Towers Watson

Additionally, Willis Towers Watson will be presenting live demonstrations of the company’s newest integrated solutions and analytical tools designed to help organizations more effectively assess exposures, protect assets and, if necessary, recover losses associated with a cyber breach.

“Willis Towers Watson’s claims data and other studies continue to point to human error or behavior as the primary underlying cause of cyber incidents. Yet most companies emphasize defensive technology solutions or mitigating financial tools to address cyber risks,” said Anthony Dagostino, global head of Cyber Risk, Willis Towers Watson. “While these are crucial, companies often neglect one critical link in their cyber defense strategy — people. With our integrated approach to client solutions, cutting-edge analytical tools and expanded global cyber platform, we stand ready to help organizations tackle the human capital element of cyber risk while continuing to acknowledge the roles of technology and insurance,” he added.

Media are invited to view these demos in the Willis Towers Watson Hub space, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hall F.

Live demos: integrated solutions and analytical tools

Cyber Risk Culture Survey This innovative new tool is the first of its kind in the marketplace. The offering connects human capital and workplace culture to an employers’ cyber risk vulnerability. The solution addresses companies’ leading challenges around cyber risk, such as tracking the extent of risk inherent in their employees’ behaviors, determining ways to mitigate this factor and ultimately building a cyber smart workforce.

Cyber Quantified This predictive modeling tool quantifies an organization’s risk due to privacy breach and, going beyond any model in the industry, measures the impact and likelihood of a network outage due to a cyber event, including its duration and corresponding financial impact. Modeling both of these exposures across the globe allows organizations to determine optimal risk transfer strategies and financing limits.

The cyber program will be presented as part of Willis Towers Watson’s full agenda at the conference. For more information, visit Willis Towers Watson at RIMS.
