SPI Energy Co., Ltd. Signs a Letter of Intent with ENTRADE Energiesysteme AG

To purchase E4 mobile biomass power system


HONG KONG, March 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SPI Energy Co., Ltd. (“SPI Energy” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:SPI), a global clean energy market place for business, residential, government and utility customers and investors, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, SPI Solar Japan GK ("SPI Japan") has signed a Letter of Intent (“LOI”) with ENTRADE Energiesysteme AG – The Clean Energy Company  (“ENTRADE”) (NASDAQ Private Market: ENTR86), based in Düsseldorf, Germany. The LOI signed with ENTRADE allows SPI Japan to expand business opportunities in biomass energy power products and services.
