LHC Group Announces Home Health and Hospice Joint Venture With Pleasant Valley Hospital


LAFAYETTE, La., April 03, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LHC Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:LHCG) announced today that it had entered into a home health and hospice joint venture with Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.  Pleasant Valley Hospital is a 101-bed not-for-profit hospital that, in partnership with Cabell Huntington Hospital and Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, provides quality healthcare through a wide range of medical services and specialties to residents of Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia and Gallia and Meigs counties in Ohio.  Among these services, Pleasant Valley Hospital offers comprehensive home health and hospice services within its service areas through Pleasant Valley Home Health and Hospice in two locations, Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and Pomeroy, Ohio.
