Stockholm, April 11, 2017 — Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) announces that the trading in Senzime AB’s shares (short name: SEZI) commenced today on Nasdaq First North in Stockholm. Senzime belongs to the health care sector and is the 27th company to be admitted to trading on Nasdaq’s Nordic markets* in 2017.

Senzime develops patient-oriented monitoring systems that make it possible to assess patients’ biochemical and physiological processes before, during and after surgery. The portfolio of technologies includes bedside systems that enable automated and continuous monitoring of life-critical substances such as glucose and lactate in both blood and tissues, as well as systems to monitor patients’ neuromuscular function perioperatively and in the intensive care medicine setting. "With the recently completed financing, we can accelerate the commercialization and take aim at further licensing and distribution agreements as a follow up to the agreements we have already signed in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and England,” said Lena Söderström, CEO of Senzime. “In connection with this, we have chosen to list Senzime’s shares on Nasdaq First North to receive more visibility on the stock market and also enable broader institutional ownership in the company.”

“We welcome Senzime to Nasdaq First North,” said Adam Kostyál, senior vice president and head of European listings at Nasdaq. “We congratulate Senzime on its listing, and look forward to supporting them with the increased investor visibility that comes with a Nasdaq First North listing.”
