Shuttle Announces XPC NCO3U Kaby Lake Mini Multi-Use PC for 4K Displays

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., May 30, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shuttle Computer Group, Inc., one of the world’s leading designers of small form factor computers, today announced the upgrade to its XPC Nano line of barebone computers with the XPC NCO3U. The series supports the new Intel® Kaby Lake U platform and comes in a variety of CPU options including Celeron® 3865U and Core™ i3/i5/i7 processors for the most up-to-date computing options.

“Shuttle stays on the cutting edge with Kaby Lake,” said Robert Garcia, channel manager, Shuttle Computer Group. “The new NCO3U has 7th generation DDR4 memory for a boost in performance. It lets you do a lot more with rich and detailed 4K video, all in a computer that fits in the palm of your hand.”

Like all of Shuttle’s computers, the new NCO3U can be custom configured, and its ultra-small form factor design makes it perfect for integrators who work in digital signage, kiosks, POS, and the SOHO and SMB markets.

The Nano XPC NCO3U series has great connectivity with multiple I/O ports—HDMI®, full DisplayPort, RS232, USB 2.0 and 3.0, and an SD card reader for legacy applications. And with a built-in USB3.0 Type-C, there’s no up or down orientation required for an easier connection experience.

With its Gigabit LAN, which means greater versatility, users can connect to expansion devices and peripherals for a wide range of applications. It has 2 x 204 pin DDR4 SODIMM slots to support a maximum of 32GB, plus an M.2 2280 slot that supports SATA or PCIe interface drives for optimum performance.

Product numbers are NCO3U, NCO3U3, NCO3U5, NCO3U7 determined by processor and graphics capabilities and are currently available. The XPC Nano NCO3U computers come with a three-year limited warranty and are available through Shuttle’s Distribution Partners including ASI, Ingram Micro, MaLabs, Synnex and others.
