Dr. Aoun is affiliated with JFK Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Jupiter Medical Center.

A 2004 Magna Cum Laude graduate of The University of North Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Aoun has also held a residency and a chief residency tenure with Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and a Fellowship at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. According to Dr. Aoun, his interest in medicine and endocrinology dates back to his college years, becoming intrigued by the sciences as they pertain to explaining complex biological processes. In the intellectually-stimulating and clinically-rewarding aspects of the endocrine field, he found a great potential to fulfill his dreams and aspirations to make a positive, withstanding difference in society.

Day to day responsibilities for Dr. Aoun include caring for patients with various endocrine conditions (particularly diabetes and thyroid issues), as well as teaching activities with internal medical residents and groups in the community. Along with his fellow colleagues at PBDES, Dr. Aoun is working to better the advancement of policies designed to provide easier, affordable, and effective access to diabetes care. His professional associations include The Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Aoun’s professional goals for the next five years include continuing to make a positive difference at a larger scale.

Humbled by his past and present opportunities in education and research, Dr. Aoun remains grateful for the opportunity to provide individualized care for his patients. Over the next five years, he strives to continue to create positive outcomes in the healthcare field through education, research, preventative strategies, and political activism.

In his spare time, Dr. Aoun enjoys traveling, reading, and playing sports.
