ExploreLearning announces new free Gizmos accounts

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Aug. 08, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ExploreLearning®, a member of Cambium Learning® Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:ABCD), announced that it is now providing free access to a limited set of its award-winning Gizmos for teachers and their students.

ExploreLearning Gizmos is the world’s largest library of interactive online simulations for math and science education in grades 3–12. It helps students develop a deep understanding of challenging concepts through inquiry and exploration. Educators across North America use Gizmos to bring research-proven, standards-aligned instructional strategies to the classroom.

The new Gizmos free accounts are a permanent addition to the website and provide access to a rotating, curated collection of Gizmos chosen from the library of over 400 simulations. The collection will change every January and July.

Additionally, for the month of August, educators can use three solar-eclipse-related Gizmos to help them ready their students for the August 21, 2017 Solar Eclipse.

Subscription options providing complete access to the full library of over 400 Gizmos are also available for teachers, schools and districts.

“We are excited to make Gizmos available to more educators and students than ever,” said David Shuster, Ph.D., founder and president of ExploreLearning. “As our schools work to expand and deepen their STEM programs, we wanted to do more to help. Now, all math and science educators will have the opportunity to bring the power of Gizmos to their classrooms.”
