Mr. Seeger recently worked as a Director in the Rates and Currencies group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Wes held that role for 12 years and has 29 years of experience in the foreign exchange markets. He focuses on all aspects of foreign exchange with his clients. This includes payments solutions, as well as strategic advisory related to hedging, structured transactions (such as currency options) and hedge accounting.
Starting his FX career in Atlanta, Mr. Seeger then moved to Chicago for 22 years where he gained experience at top banks like Swiss Bank, First National Bank of Chicago and ABN AMRO. During his career, he has focused on corporate advisory work, mainly covering the middle market space. While in Chicago, he covered a portfolio of Midwestern companies, mainly based in Michigan, which gave him an opportunity to learn about the auto industry and the specific FX issues they face.
Wes is a native of South Carolina and is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Financial Management.
