Voyageur Completes 14 Drill Holes on Frances Creek


CALGARY, Alberta, Aug. 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Voyageur Minerals Ltd. (TSXV:VM) (the “Company”), announces that it has completed 14 drill holes of the current drill program.

This drilling is intended to confirm historical information, and to expand the barite resource along strike and to depth.  Voyageur has successfully confirmed this information with this phase of the drilling, and is pleased to announce that the Francis Creek deposit is open in all directions. The Company is pleased to report that the occurrence of barite was visible in all the holes sent to the lab for testing.

The results of this testing will be released as soon as they are available to the Company.

The current drill program will ccontinue into the fall of this year.  We look forward to connecting the dots between the upper zone and the lower zone which, if successful, could confirm a strike length of at least 700 m.

As a result of this drilling the Company has staked additional claims (285ha) adjacent to the Francis Creek Claims.
