Hotwire Expands in North America

Pop-Up Offices Launching in Minneapolis, Boston and Mexico City

SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, Aug. 30, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hotwire, the global communications agency, today announced its expansion plans to launch pop-up offices in cities across North America in order to provide on-the-ground support to current clients, strengthen its portfolio of consumer and tech companies and attract top talent.

In addition to existing North American locations in San Francisco and New York, Hotwire plans to open offices in Minneapolis, Boston and Mexico City – three cities that are investing in innovation and creating economies driven by technology. By establishing a local presence, Hotwire can quickly bring expertise from and access to its networks in Silicon Valley, New York, London and across the world to local companies of all sizes. Opening in new locations also allows Hotwire to attract talent who want to work with global clients ranging from start-ups to fast growing enterprises, without having to relocate.

“Opening pop-up offices gives the company, our employees and our clients more choices and greater agility. It also allows us to attract diverse talent as we build one of the leading tech and consumer communications agencies,” said Barbara Bates, global CEO of Hotwire. “For more than 25 years we have been at the center of the tech industry. As we continue to see companies across all industries striving to be tech and innovation leaders and more cities becoming hubs of innovation, we’re encouraged by the opportunity to bring our knowledge and networks to help accelerate that growth.”

The first pop-up office launches this month in Minneapolis, where current Hotwire client Calabrio, a customer engagement and analytics software company, is headquartered. Kelsey Quickstad, senior manager at Hotwire, will lead the Minneapolis pop-up, which will be located at COCO Minneapolis.

“Hotwire has been a valuable partner in driving awareness of the Calabrio brand,” said Rebecca Martin, VP of marketing at Calabrio. “We’ve tapped into the firm’s extensive network in Silicon Valley, New York and London to gain global recognition and build key influencer relationships. Hotwire’s reputation in the tech industry is impressive, and innovative Twin Cities companies will benefit from the firm’s deep experience.”

Driven by client demand, Hotwire plans to launch pop-up offices in Boston and Mexico City, where they already serve clients, through the second half of 2017. With this agile model, Hotwire is able to quickly launch into new markets and expects to announce additional pop-up locations in 2018.
