North Carolina-based construction technology company debuts seventh student housing project with 114,000-square-foot building near the CSU campus


Durham, Sept. 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DURHAM, N.C. — Sept. 8, 2017 —Prescient, a fully integrated BIM design and building technology platform, announced today the completion of Uncommon Fort Collins, a student housing project in the heart of downtown Fort Collins, Colorado.

The project features 120 furnished and unfurnished apartment homes, with studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units available as well as on-site, ground floor retail options. Located at 302 S. College Ave., the six-floor, 114,000-square-foot project also features a fitness room (complete with weights, cardio equipment, a ski simulator and a rock climbing wall), two outdoor courtyards, a lounge and a business center. Additionally, each unit includes euro-style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, designer bathrooms with subway tile and glass showers, living room TVs, track lighting, hardwood-style floors and custom window treatments. The complex also offers secure underground parking, outdoor grills and a bike room for residents, including repair and cleaning stations as well as storage areas for ski or snowboarding equipment.

Uncommon Fort Collins is owned by CA Student Living and contracted by Dohn Construction. OZ Architecture completed the project’s design and construction in time to welcome students for the 2017-18 academic year.  This is Prescient’s second student living project for CA Student Living.  The first one was Uncommon Tampa at USF.
