Werner Enterprises Supports the 2017 Special Olympics Convoy


OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 12, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ:WERN), a premier transportation and logistics provider, supports the World’s Largest Truck Convoy® from Hastings, Nebraska, to Grand Island, Nebraska, from Sept. 15 through Sept. 16, to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics.

The truck convoy will start at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Hastings and end at Bosselman Travel Center in Grand Island. This year, 20 Werner professional drivers will partake in the 15th annual event, which will raise funds to benefit the more than 5,000 Special Olympic athletes in Nebraska.
