MACH37 Announces the Fall 2017 Class of Cybersecurity Startups

MACH37 announces 6 startups participating in its Fall program

Herndon, Virginia, Sept. 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The MACH37 Cyber Accelerator announced today that it has selected six cybersecurity startups to participate in the Fall 2017 (F17) three-month mentorship-driven startup program. With this announcement, MACH37 will have helped launch 52 cyber companies since the program started in 2013.

"The threat landscape in today’s industry is changing rapidly and is more complex than ever before. In response, the need for product innovation in the enterprise and consumer markets is at an all-time high,” said Tom Weithman, President of MACH37. “We have developed a unique program that identifies high-potential entrepreneurs with emerging security solutions and provides them with the resources that enable them to rapidly develop and scale their companies to combat the industry’s constantly changing needs.”

As a focused business accelerator, MACH37 brings together domain experts, successful entrepreneurs and investors steeped into the security market to create a platform for success for innovators and their startups. MACH37 cohort companies receive an equity investment and are coached through a focused 90-day program in which the entrepreneurs are mentored in all aspects of creating a sustainable and successful cybersecurity business.

“Our program places a heavy emphasis on continuous interaction between our portfolio companies and our expansive network of cybersecurity experts. These real-world connections with industry veterans are designed to provide a path to customer validation, investor validation and ultimately a successful go-to-market strategy,” added Weithman.
