Ash & Associates Consulting Ltd. to Start Resource Studies and Preliminary Economic Assessments for MX Gold Corp on Magistral Gold Project-Mexico and the Max Molybdenum Deposit-British Columbia


VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 29, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MX Gold Corp. (TSX-V:MXL) (FSE:ODV) (OTCQX:MXLGF) (the “Company” or “MX Gold”) is pleased to announce Ash & Associates Consulting Ltd. will commence resource studies and preliminary economic assessments on MX Gold’s Magistral Mill and Tailings Deposit in Mexico and the Max Molybdenum Deposit in British Columbia.

Magistral Mill and Tailings Deposit – Mexico

MX Gold announced on October 25, 2016 the intent to acquire a 50% interest in the Magistral Mill and Tailings Deposit.  Ash & Associates Consulting Ltd. completed a data verification program for MX Gold that included a site visit and collection of samples for assay and metallurgical testing from the Magistral tailings and is therefore able to immediately commence resource studies and a preliminary economic assessment. 

Max Molybdenum Deposit – British Columbia

Concurrent with the Magistral studies, Ash & Associates Consulting Ltd. will undertake an NI-43-101 compliant study of the Max Molybdenum Deposit. Ash & Associates Consulting Ltd. has also been involved with MX Gold with the Max Mill and Tailings and has been on site numerous times. Upon completion of the resource study a preliminary economic assessment evaluation study will begin.

The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Lorne Warner, P.Geo, and is a director of MX Gold and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
