New York, NY, Sept. 29, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This October, cyclists will gather in California in solidarity for young women diagnosed with breast cancer, biking over 200 miles across the state and raising thousands of dollars for the support and education for women diagnosed at age 40 and under.
YSC Tour de Pink® begins Friday, October 27 in Westlake Village, California and ends Sunday, October 29 in Santa Monica. Riders will journey 207 miles past the Pacific Coast Highway, Lake Casitas and Malibu.
Participants can also join in for a single-day, 51-mile ride on Saturday, October 28 from Santa Barbara to Ventura.
Tour de Pink is a fundraising event of Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the premier nonprofit dedicated to young women with breast cancer. The funds raised will help educate, empower and connect the more than 250,000 young American women who have faced breast cancer.
Now in its 13th year, Tour de Pink has generated more than $8 million in the name of young women affected by breast cancer. And Tour de Pink is more than just a bike ride: it’s a “rolling community” of survivors, partners, family and friends.
