Government of Canada to invest in the right tools for the best science


WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Oct. 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canada Foundation for Innovation

The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will be at the University of Manitoba to announce new funding for research equipment at universities, colleges and research hospitals across Canada. This investment will further Canada’s reputation as a global leader in science.

The Minister will be joined by the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s President and CEO, Roseann O’Reilly Runte. Following the announcement, the Minister and Dr. O’Reilly Runte will meet a group of scientists and students who will showcase their work and explain why their research matters to Canadians.
