Denver, Colo., Nov. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PeakMed, a company that provides family practice medicine using an affordable monthly-membership model that doesn’t bill insurance, announced today its Mobile LifeCenter, which brings doctor services directly to companies who use PeakMed.
PeakMed already has three brick-and-mortar LifeCenters located in Englewood and Colorado Springs, with two more coming on line in Colorado Springs and Littleton in early 2018. Now, the company is introducing its Mobile LifeCenter, which is a sprinter van complete with a medical clinic to treat employees with little disruption to their workday.
The Mobile LifeCenter, equipped with all of the technology needed to treat PeakMed members, will serve employees and their families from companies that offer PeakMed service as part of their employee benefit package.
“Raising the bar in health care and innovation is what PeakMed is all about,” Dr. Mark Tomasulo, founder and chief medical officer of PeakMed said. “Doctors used to make house calls, but we’ve gotten away from that personal outreach. We hope to bring that back with our Mobile LifeCenter, which brings all our regular diagnostic amenities directly to our members.”
The van will be stationed at a different office locations each day and the physician will be able to treat the most common illnesses, assist in disease management and work with employees on preventative care.
