PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pepper Hamilton LLP today announced that partner Rachael M. Bushey has rejoined the firm as chair of Life Sciences and vice chair of its thriving and nationally regarded Health Sciences Department. She rejoins Pepper from Hogan Lovells.

Also rejoining the firm from Hogan Lovells is Jennifer L. Porter, who has been named partner in the Health Sciences Department. Bushey and Porter will be resident in the Philadelphia office.
Bushey has a deep background in life sciences, including serving as vice president and deputy general counsel for West Pharmaceutical Services. In her practice, she represents public and private life sciences companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, complex divestitures, capital markets transactions, securities law compliance, corporate governance and collaboration agreements.
The additions of Bushey and Porter strengthen the attorney ranks in Pepper’s Health Sciences Department, a multidisciplinary practice that serves clients across the health care spectrum.

Bushey initially joined Pepper in 2005 as an associate. From 2010 to 2014, she served as vice president, deputy general counsel and corporate secretary for West Pharmaceutical Services in Exton, Pa. She was named a partner of Pepper Hamilton in 2014.
