Ethos Gold Corp. Announces Melvin Herdrick Joins Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 05, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ethos Gold Corp. (“Ethos” or the “Company”) (TSXV:ECC) is pleased to announce that Melvin Herdrick has joined its Board of Directors.  Mel is a professional geologist with over 35 years of experience in exploration in the United States and Mexico, including 9 years as Chief Geologist for Phelps Dodge in Mexico from 1994 to 2003, and 8 years as Vice President of Exploration for Pediment Gold Corp. until its takeover by Argonaut Gold Inc. in 2011.  Mel has worked as a consultant to Ethos and has played a lead role in identifying and evaluating gold exploration opportunities for Ethos in Mexico, including the recently announced option to acquire the La Purisima property in Chihuahua.

Coincident with this announcement, the Company has granted, under its Stock Option Plan, incentive stock options to the incoming director to purchase up to an aggregate of 250,000 common shares in the capital of the Company exercisable for a period of 5 years ending on December 3, 2022 at a price of $0.20 per share.
