CloudJumper Doubles Revenue and Increases Seat Count 126% Year-over-Year with Workspace-as-a-Service Platform

Company Growth Expected to Accelerate Throughout 2018 With Expanded Channel and Expanding Demand for WaaS

GARNER, N.C., Dec. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CloudJumper, a leading Workspace as a Service (WaaS) platform innovator for agile business IT, today announced end of year revenue growth for 2017. Sales of the company’s nWorkSpace WaaS platform increased compared to the previous year by more than 200%. The robust sales compared to 2016, are the result of an expanded sales channel which grew 100% in 2017 to serve SMBs and midmarket organizations migrating their office environments to the cloud.

According to QY Research1, “Workspace as a service (WaaS) can be provided as a dedicated infrastructure, outsourcing the infrastructure management to third parties or as a hosted on-premise solution. WaaS results in significant reduction in capital expenditure as complete desktops, including applications and operating systems, can be managed and upgraded from a centralized server. Thus, the advantage of reduced capital expenditure is a major driving factor for the adoption of WaaS solutions and services.”

CloudJumper’s nWorkSpace is a mainstream WaaS technology which has gained widespread adoption in the IT channel over the last several years as business leaders have realized the value of IT in the cloud. With growing requirements for IT agility, including remote access to corporate data and business applications and greater use of mobile devices (BYOD), many IT professionals are expanding their computing options to include personal laptops, tablets, and smartphones to access the office from any location and at any time.

In the last twelve months, CloudJumper has seen its channel partner count nearly double which has driven 2017’s sales to new highs. In the same time period, customer seat count has increased 126% as more businesses are exposed to the technology and take advantage of its many benefits, including IT infrastructure cost reduction, greatly improved computing access and business agility, centralized IT operations with bulletproof security, and remote worker enablement.

2017 was a constructive year for CloudJumper, starting with a business unit acquisition of more than 50 MSPs and ISVs. Added to this was the signing of several premier channel providers, including US Signal, MainFrameIT, Pax8, Impact Networking, and others. On the technology front, the company launched its JumpStart solution for fast ground to cloud customer onboarding and the Customer Management Module (CMM) to accelerate WaaS profitability for partners.

CloudJumper also kicked off two programs: the company’s competitive replacement and disaster recovery plans, to speed partner and customer transition to the CloudJumper platform by offering 3 free months of service for qualified agreements, in both cases.

To accommodate the company’s growth, CloudJumper doubled its North American office space with the enhancement of the company’s sales and account management team.

“The market has turned a corner with businesses looking toward the cloud to optimize how they conduct business operations, from accounting and inventory management to sales and custom app enablement,” said Tommy Vaughan, president, Central Technology Solutions. “CloudJumper nWorkSpace reveals this opportunity to its partners with technology that is automated from the word go with powerful onboarding and account management.”

“As analysts have forecast, workspace as a service is an area that businesses and IT service providers should direct their energy toward because of the general transition of computing resources to the cloud,” said JD Helms, president, CloudJumper. “Our award-winning platform is acknowledged by our customers, partners, and industry experts as one of the most refined solutions in the category and we expect 2018 to be a huge year for the company as we continue to grow in the United States and internationally.
