CipherHealth Announces 2017 Partner Award Winners

Awards recognize outstanding results in improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions


New York, New York, Dec. 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CipherHealth, a leading healthcare technology company, has announced the winners of the 2017 Partner Awards. Awardees will be recognized at CipherHealth’s first Excellence & Innovation User Conference taking place February 1-2, 2018, in San Diego, CA.

The annual awards recognize top and high-performing healthcare organizations using CipherHealth solutions to tackle tough business challenges and achieve exceptional results.  Four total winners were selected from healthcare providers across the country in two categories: Excellence and Innovation.  These winners show dedication to bettering the health care system and commitment to their patients. 

The 2017 CipherHealth Partner Award recipients are:

  • Baptist Health (Awarded for Excellence)
    Using CipherHealth’s automated outreach platform, Voice, Baptist Health was able to reduce inpatient readmissions 12.5% and COPD readmissions 15.8%. 

  • Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Plano (Awarded for Excellence)
    Under visionary leadership and dedicated staff, this organization executed their goal of less than 11% readmissions compared to fiscal year 2016. After success with IP, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Plano expanded their program using the SMS feature of the automated outreach technology to target condition specific groups.

  • Middlesex Hospital’s Center for Chronic Care Management (Awarded for Innovation)
    As opposed to pre-appointment or post-discharge follow-up calls, Middlesex Hospital’s Center for Chronic Care Management put a fresh spin on CipherHealth’s Voice solution. This organization uses automated outreach to ask condition-specific questions in order to provide high-touch educational opportunities.

  • Well Care Home Health (Awarded for Innovation)
    Well Care Home Health is CipherHealth’s only 2017 Partner Awards winner leading innovation and best practices in post-acute care engagement.  The home health agency used CipherHealth’s automated outreach solution to engage with patients throughout and after their care episode. This organization was able to improve average HH-CAHPS scores by 6% in only 3 months.
