The American Health Council Appoints Janiece Fazio, RN, BSN to Nursing Board

NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Janiece Fazio, RN, BSN is being appointed to the American Health Council’s Nursing Board. Ms. Fazio has served as a Registered Nurse at Florida Hospital for the past nine years. Florida Hospital is one of the country’s largest not-for-profit healthcare providers, cultivating community-wide movements toward adopting healthier lifestyles for greater longevity. Altogether, Ms. Fazio has given 11 years of expertise and knowledge in ICU, ED, PACU, Outpatient Surgery, and Clinical Practice Care to the healthcare industry, making her a valuable candidate within her field.

Janiece Fazio began her education at the Daytona State College, where she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing in 2006. Then, gaining acceptance from Everglades University, Ms. Fazio enrolled as a student within their Alternative Medicine Program. She graduated, valedictorian, with her Bachelors of Science in Alternative Medicine, with a minor in Nutrition, in 2013.

Becoming a nurse had not always been a professional goal for Ms. Fazio. She came to this discovery sitting at her mom’s bedside in an ICU during the last months of her life.  Ms. Fazio would not have been able to accomplish her goals had it not been for her family. They have continuously acted as one united support system as she was earning her degree(s) and coming into her current role at Florida Hospital. They have told her how proud they are of her and the hard work she has done, and they anticipate seeing her flourish more in her career as it continues.

Day to day responsibilities for Ms. Fazio include her educating patients and their families about the different healthcare options they have available to them. She spends an abundance of her time treating and caring for their various illnesses.

Janiece Fazio, BSN is very proud of how her career has excelled within the last decade and of her patients' overall progress.

When she isn’t helping her patients, Ms. Fazio is helping others. She has just launched her new business, Fazio Wellness, to extend her knowledge in her community and she is proud of the work she has done to open its doors.

In years to come, Ms. Fazio hopes to continue her growth as a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Korean Hand Therapist, and wants to become the best wellness coach she can be, for herself and for her clients.

In her spare time, Ms. Janiece Fazio enjoys QiGong, running, meditation, writing, photography and learning other artistic mediums (Encaustic and Handmade Paper for instance) as a proactive means of managing daily stress.  She plans to incorporate Art Therapy as part of her coaching in the near future.
