SEACOR Holdings Inc. Announces Habitat for Humanity Puerto Rico Support


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE:CKH) (“SEACOR”), today announced it is collaborating with 84 Lumber and an anonymous donor to support Habitat for Humanity Puerto Rico’s ongoing efforts to improve the living conditions on the island.

Through this initiative, two commercial trucks, donated to Habitat for Humanity Puerto Rico along with home construction materials and tools donated by 84 Lumber were loaded onto ocean transport provided by SEACOR’s subsidiary Trailer Bridge, Inc. and bound for Puerto Rico.

Ocean transportation of the trucks and materials for the effort is being donated by Trailer Bridge, Inc., a shipping and logistics firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Habitat for Humanity Puerto Rico will use the trucks to continue to support the mission of helping individuals and families achieve stability, self-sufficiency and a better future through home ownership.
