AFCEA International Recognizes Exceptional Individuals

Technology professionals honored for leadership and exemplary actions.


San Diego, Feb. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Distinguished professionals who support the military and government will be recognized with AFCEA awards for their accomplishments at WEST 2018 in San Diego this week. The winners comprise members of industry, the military services and academia.

Through its annual awards program, AFCEA International recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals in the communications, electronics, intelligence and information technology disciplines.

Women Appreciation Award Winners 2018 
The award recognizes and honors AFCEA members, regardless of gender, who have gone above and beyond expectations to further the careers of women and support the association. To receive this award for 2018, members of the AFCEA International Membership Committee selected:

The Distinguished Young AFCEAN Award recognizes and rewards exceptional performance in four areas: leadership and guidance for the Young AFCEAN program; superior technical achievement in the professional arena; a record of going above and beyond expectations at the local AFCEA chapter or regional level; and mentoring other Young AFCEANs.
