Cyclone Power Technologies Files for Patents for their Thermal Storage and Thermal Storage Medium and Update to Shareholders

POMPANO BEACH, FL, Feb. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- , Cyclone Power Technologies (OTCPK: CYPW) has filed for patents for the Cyclone Thermal Storage Unit and the Cyclone Thermal Medium. “We feel this is a major step in securing our place in the Heat Storage Battery market and puts us as a Solar storage preferred supplier.” exclaims Frankie Fruge, company president.

The Cyclone Thermal Storage Unit (TSU) is a propriety technology developed by Cyclone. This technology uses salt water to produce a water proof and mold proof cement system developed by Genesis. That can be built on site in areas that have no or limited access to fresh water. Our recently announced new subsidiary, Cyclone Thermal Storage Genesis LLC, has the exclusive rights to this method for the Thermal Storage Unit and the exclusive rights to produce the Thermal Storage Unit for mass production.

The Cyclone Thermal Medium (CTM), also a proprietary technology. It is a benign storage agent that does not solidify and can retain high temperatures.  It will flow thru the Cyclone trough system and gather heat from the sun and move it to the Cyclone Thermal Storage Unit.  The heat is then stored so that it can continue to generate electricity at its full rated capacity DAY AND NIGHT for six sunless days in a row.  This is a monumental breakthrough for the Microgrid market, as small TSUs are otherwise not commercially available. The TSU can also be used to store energy from bio-mass and other heat sources to be used to heat water, heat homes, or produce electricity or a combination of all three.

A Brief Update to Cyclone Shareholders:

Cyclone is continuing with their core business model.  This will include the basic long term business model of licensing OEM’s, Engine manufacturers and Distributors. All sales will flow thru Cyclone Power and sold to OEM’s and Distributors. There are several in place as stated in previous press releases and we are working with them to get engines and products into the marketplace.

As stated in our previous update to shareholders, “Opportunities for Cyclone with long-term capital advantages have presented themselves and could led to a strategic move”.  Now that this has happened it puts Cyclone in a financial position to move at an accelerated pace and bring the core business model to fruition.

Based on the totality of all the facts, Cyclone is undergoing the following:

New employees are being hired and previous employees are coming back some at a part time basis as we grow into production.

Professionals are on board to assist in sales and engineering of the Microgrid System and to set up distributors for the generator market.

Cyclone has had meetings and discussions and our two manufacturers are ready to build the first production models of the Mark 1 and the Mark 3.  TAW is ready to start the integration.

The Microgrid market is being looked at by large organizations all over the world, and we feel this will the next generation of “green energy” for the world environment. Cyclone’s Microgram system, with longer term storage capabilities, allows anyone from the largest corporations to individual homeowners to generate their own power and then sell the unused portion back to the main grid at potentially premium prices. Cyclone is currently exploring new blockchain technology to allow individuals to buy and sell power at their own price to the main grid without having to go through the “red tape” of the main energy provider.

Cyclone’s staff appreciates all the support and let’s looks to the future.

Sincerely,

Harry Schoell - Chairman/CTO

Frankie Fruge - President/Director

About Cyclone Power Technologies

Cyclone Power Technologies is the developer of the award-winning Cyclone Engine – an all-fuelclean-tech engine with the power and versatility to run everything from waste energy electric generators and solar thermal systems to cars, trucks and locomotives. Invented by company founder and Chairman Harry Schoell, the patented Cyclone Engine is a eco-friendly external combustion engine, ingeniously designed to achieve high thermal efficiencies through a compact heat-regenerative process, and to run on virtually any fuel - including bio-dieselssyngas or solar - while emitting fewer greenhouse gases and irritating pollutants into the air. The Cyclone Engine was recognized by Popular Science Magazine as the Invention of the Year for 2008, was included in a 2011 report by Popular Mechanics as an important waste energy technology for the future, and was twice presented with the Society of Automotive Engineers’ AEI Tech Award. Additionally, Cyclone was named Environmental Business of the Year by the Broward County Environmental Protection Department. For more information, visit www.cyclonepower.com.
