Subject to testing and regulatory approval, Nasdaq Commodities is announcing changes to its Trading and Clearing Rules, effective March 1, 2018.

These Appendices are affected:

  • Joint Trading and Clearing Appendix 2 – Contract Specifications
  • Joint Trading and Clearing Appendix 7 – Fee List
     

Delisting and reduction of the German Electricity Future contracts

The decision to delist and reduce the listing of German Electricity contract with settlement against the average of the hourly prices from the day-ahead auction for the German/Austrian price zone is a natural step to further improve the liquidity in the German Only Electricity Futures contracts. This is due to the expected split of the German/Austrian price zone in October 2018.

There will be no further listing of German Electricity Base and Peak Year Future contracts. Last year available for trading and clearing is year 2020.

Delisting of German and Nordic Electricity Base Monthly Option contracts

Nordic Electricity Base Average Month Option-ENOAFUTBL[C/P]M    


All the above mentioned contracts for delisting have not been traded and have no Open Interest and are from today suspended for trading and clearing.
