• Brittany Alexander, as senior associate in the Nashville office
• Joanna Burt, as senior associate in the Nashville office;
• Carter Davenport, as vice president in the firm’s Greensboro office;
• Amy Hudson, as vice president in the firm’s Memphis office;
• Laurel Lawrence, as senior vice president in the firm’s Atlanta office;

• Alan Torres, as vice president in the firm’s Nashville office;

Atlanta

Laurel Lawrence
Lawrence was promoted from vice president to senior vice president in the Atlanta office. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she completed the Northwestern University program in Financial Planning and holds the CFP® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Mary Traylor Mathis
Mathis was promoted from senior associate to vice president in the Atlanta office where she assists in the preparation of client materials, supporting the Client Service Managers in meeting daily client needs as well as managing the fiduciary tax responsibility for the Atlanta office. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University.

Greensboro

Carter Davenport
Davenport was promoted from senior associate to vice president in the Greensboro office where he focuses on day-to-day operations, as well as coordinating tax recap reports for CPAs and account fee analyses clients. He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, and he graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in International Management. Davenport also holds the CFP® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Memphis

Amy Hudson
Hudson was promoted from senior associate to vice president in the Memphis office where she works closely with client services. She graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Memphis.

Cheri Wells
Wells was promoted to senior associate after serving as a part time receptionist and an office administrator in the Memphis office. Prior to joining Diversified Trust, she was an elementary teacher, a private school principal, and an office manager.

Nashville

Brittany Alexander
Alexander was promoted to senior associate in the Nashville office where she works with the Operations Team and supports the corporate operations group.  She also provides broad administrative and operational support for the firm’s four offices. Alexander graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Western Kentucky University.

Joanna Burt
Burt was promoted to senior associate in the Nashville office where she serves as a member of the corporate operations team. She also provides support for all operational functions across the firm. Burt graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Marta Parker
Parker was promoted from senior associate to vice president in the Nashville office where she primarily focuses on serving individual clients. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting, and received her Masters of Accountancy from Belmont University.  Parker holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant.

Alan Torres
Torres was promoted from senior associate to vice president in the Nashville office where he is primarily focused on system administration and support of Diversified Trust’s information technology. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of North Alabama. Alan has 11 years of combined experience in Information Technology, primarily in financial and legal industries.

Michael L. Winter
Winter was promoted from senior vice president to principal in the Nashville office where he also serves as Chief Operating Officer. He is a member of the Portfolio Management Team, and he graduated cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree where he majored in Finance and minored in Communication Studies. Winter is also a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA society of Nashville.  He currently serves as a board member for Hands on Nashville.
