Wayne, Pa. Substance Abuse Facility Receives License, Admits Clients, Setting Stage For Saving Lives With Top Clinical Care

CHICAGO and PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Footprints to Recovery®, a  nationally recognized leader in the field of drug and alcohol treatment, announced today it has received its partial hospitalization and outpatient license and is now open and available to receive clients for substance abuse treatment. The company will be administering treatment in its brand new, world-class outpatient care facility in the Philadelphia suburb of Wayne, Pa.  While new clients have already been admitted and are receiving treatment, a grand “Open House” for its new facility will be held for the public and media on Wednesday, March 14, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  More information on the open house will follow.

Footprints to Recovery, a Chicago-based company founded in 2013, already operates Joint Commission-accredited drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers in Chicago and Hamilton, N.J.  It is scheduled to follow the opening of this new Wayne facility with a new detox center in Arizona in late March, along with other treatment facilities in the Northeast, Midwest and West scheduled to open over the next three months.

“It is imperative that the addiction abuse epidemic in Pennsylvania be addressed with critical urgency and responded-to with tactical and proven clinical solutions,” says Eliott Wolbrom, chief marketing officer of Footprints to Recovery. “It is with that very goal in mind that we are humbled at the opportunity to open our brand new, world-class treatment facility in Wayne, Pennsylvania – right outside Philadelphia - where the country’s very best clinicians - our clinicians - will come together in a cutting-edge, contemporary environment to save lives.

“We built and uniquely designed our newest treatment center with the intention of creating a relatable and comfortable environment for our clients - largely 18-35 years old - and are confident that our unparalleled model of treating addiction will be met with tremendous success,” Wolbrom continues. “We also look forward to collaborating with local associations, businesses, organizations, support groups, families and Government officials on vigorously combating the area’s addiction crisis.”

Adds Dr. Caitlin Simpson, LCSW, LCADC, Regional Director of Clinical Operations for Footprints to Recovery: “The nation is in the midst of a full-fledged epidemic. Pennsylvania has felt the crippling effects of addiction in a particularly harsh way as the state ranks higher than most for heroin and opioid substance abuse. We look forward to bringing clients our innovative, individualized and holistic treatment model which provides for an engaging, safe and nurturing environment for recovery.”

Opening its doors in Wayne, 18 miles northwest of Pennsylvania’s largest city, Philadelphia, Footprints to Recovery will provide cutting-edge addiction treatment for young adults and adults.
