BETHESDA, Md., March 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bayshore Networks, the leading provider of industrial cyber protection, has announced plans to expand its engineering operations both in the United States and abroad. “The market has so much potential and our business is growing so quickly, that we plan to open two additional engineering centers of excellence in 2018,” said Kevin Senator, Bayshore’s President and CEO.
The two facilities – one in Madrid, Spain and the other in a U.S. location to be announced – will be in addition to the facility in Bethesda, Maryland, where Bayshore is currently headquartered. The team in Madrid will be led by David Puron, who has nearly 20 years of experience in both information technology and security. Puron previously worked with Senator to launch Blackphone, a smartphone designed to ensure privacy among its business users.
Puron is a passionate entrepreneur with a mission to make the Internet of Things easy and secure. He and his team in Spain will be working on a range of product initiatives, with a strong focus on growing the capabilities of Bayshore’s intelligent Learning Engine. The team in Spain will be closely aligned with Bayshore’s engineering operation in Bethesda.
Bayshore’s VP of Engineering, Andres Andreu, stated that, “The quality of the software being developed by our resources in Spain is excellent, and we are excited to have them apply their skills to help us grow the product line. The two teams will collaborate in an agile process and will use Bayshore’s Git repository and continuous integration infrastructure to interoperate on a set of unified source code bases and automated builds.”
