iCIMS Recognized as Top Talent Acquisition Platform Provider by Independent Industry Analysts

Dedicated talent acquisition technology receives kudos over broad HCM technology for recruitment

HOLMDEL, N.J., March 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- iCIMS Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based talent acquisition solutions, announced today the company has recently been recognized in three industry analyst reports: Bersin by Deloitte’s HR Technology Disruptions for 2018 Report, Aptitude Research’s Talent Acquisition Systems 2017 Report and the Apps Run the World’s Cloud Top 500 Application Vendors Report.

“This recognition speaks volumes about the strength of the iCIMS Talent Acquisition Platform, which enables enterprise organizations to bring together their increasingly complex recruitment world,” said Susan Vitale, iCIMS chief marketing officer. “The attention analysts place on recruiting technology underscores that talent acquisition is both strategic and dynamic enough to require its own platform-of-record that complements the HCM.”

Bersin by Deloitte

In Bersin by Deloitte’s HR Technology Disruptions for 2018 report, Josh Bersin, Principal of Deloitte Consulting, LLP, covers changes within the technology landscape, employee engagement and organizational design. Bersin points out that the talent acquisition market is no longer as simple as applicant tracking but instead much broader and quite complex, noting that “ERP providers have their hands full developing payroll, learning, and other core systems, so they tend to be hard-pressed to build the level of functionality… companies like iCIMS can do at speed.” Per the report, today’s recruiting market is dynamic with many niches to cover such as brand building, job posting, sourcing, assessments, hiring and onboarding.

“The biggest talent spending area around the world today is recruiting,” said Bersin. “While companies spend around $1,200 a year per employee on employee training (making it an approximately $140 billion market), recruiting spend is about three times larger.”

Aptitude Research

In the Talent Acquisition Systems 2017 Index Report, Madeline Laurano, co-founder and chief research officer at Aptitude Research Partners, provides an overview of the market and helps companies understand their own requirements so that they can make educated decisions in their software purchases. Laurano points out that for companies to be efficient, they need end-to-end talent acquisitions solutions versus using one HR system for all aspects of talent management. “By focusing on broader talent management, these technologies have failed to address the growing complexities of talent acquisition and the importance of a positive candidate experience,” explained Laurano.

“By all definitions, iCIMS is one of the greatest success stories in HCM technology,” said Laurano. “It is a privately-held company with a consistent growth rate. It is a company that continues to grow through its strong partnerships, stellar reputation and dedicated leadership.” Laurano also cites iCIMS’ deep expertise in talent acquisition, exceptional customer service and strong customer satisfaction as key strengths.

Apps Run the World

Apps Run the World ranked iCIMS number 18 on their HCM Top 500 Software Vendors list, which is the highest ranking of a best of breed talent acquisition technology vendor. “iCIMS’ ability to sustain its robust revenue growth could turn the vendor into a dominating factor across all segments of the talent acquisition market,” said Albert Pang, president of Apps Run the World.

As these and other industry analysts note a shift from integrated HCM technologies in favor of recruitment platforms integrated with HCM suites, so too have employers’ buying behaviors. Crate & Barrel, E-Trade Financial Corporation, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Tractor Supply Company are brands that recently selected iCIMS’ talent acquisition platform over an HCM for their enterprise hiring needs.
