WASHINGTON, March 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) today announced that Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR), an industry leader in automated, scalable and secure networks, is the latest company to join the organization as an Affiliate member. This latest addition to the CTA expands the number of security leaders working together to share threat intelligence for a stronger global security community.

“The industry is facing a persistent and diversifying threat landscape where attacks are launched 24/7,” said Sherry Ryan, CISO and IT Vice President, Juniper Networks. “The Cyber Threat Alliance gives us the advantage of collaboration by uniting resources and threat intelligence to better defend against these ever-increasing threats. As we look toward the future of cybersecurity, threats and attack vectors will only continue to grow, which makes it all the more critical to work together to protect our customers from the unexpected. We believe that collectively, we will be able to do more to prevent and mitigate the high-severity attacks that we see all too frequently, as well as the ones that are yet to come.”

The CTA, founded by Fortinet, McAfee, Palo Alto Networks, Symantec, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. and Cisco, is an independent, not-for-profit organization that also includes IntSights, Rapid7, ReversingLabs, RSA, Saint Security, SK Infosec, Sophos and Telefónica’s ElevenPaths.
