TriaSys Technologies enters into Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the US Coast Guard

TriaSys RForce Product Line used for Search and Rescue


Boston, March 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

TriaSys Technologies, a leading provider of innovative signal processing solutions, has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the US Coast Guard.  The CRADA focuses on Search and Rescue technologies.

TriaSys will investigate the operational use of its third generation RForce cell phone detection system along with direction finding technology to locate persons in distress situations.

“This represents a key milestone in our strategic development plan to broaden our customer base in the cellular signal processing marketplace,” said John Apostle, CEO of TriaSys Technologies.  “With this effort, we will be able to define the operational requirements and refine our technical solution to meet the needs of the Coast Guard.”

This agreement follows recent company announcements including the acquisition and integration of the Protium product lines into its Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and wireless networking solutions. The company expanded its Board of Directors with the appointments of John Demerjian and Robert Brevelle, and it announced the completion of strategic initiatives in support of its customers in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR).
