2018 Sing For Your Heart Singing Competition Open Auditions: ‘Generations’ Celebrating Music Through the Ages

MARKHAM, Ontario, April 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sing For Your Heart is an annual event in the Chinese community, going into its 27th year in 2018. The event began as a black tie gala that embraced fine food, lively music, stunning entertainment, exciting auctions and dazzling prizes. New for 2018 is a format that is taking this event to a new level to reach a younger generation of community leaders and event-goers that demand exciting new and interactive formats, especially at fundraisers.

This year’s competition is comprised of 2 components: an Open Audition and a Final Event that will have an exciting singing competition finale, along with two sections for the event. One area will cater to the audience that previously enjoyed our sit down format, called the VIP Section. While it will not be assigned seating there will be cruiser tables, seating areas along with delicious food and a cash bar. The “open section” will be for the young and “young at heart” to mix and mingle while taking in the entertainment. SFYH 2018 will bring the best from the past and embrace the future of excellence in fundraising events. To round off the event and the mission of the Chinese Canadian Council, this event will be sure to pay attention to: fundraising, awareness and health promotion.

We are searching for the hottest talent to sing their hearts out for 3 TOP PRIZES, which include airfare to Asia, cash prizes, recording studio time at one of Toronto’s hottest sound studios with a sound engineer and high-end portable karaoke microphones.
