Flight Research, Inc. to provide training for Human Spaceflight Tourists and Professional Spaceflight Crews with release of NASA recognized Human Spaceflight Training Program.


Mojave, Calif., April 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Flight Research, Inc. (www.flightresearch.com), a leading provider of Flight Test Support, Aircraft Maintenance and Advanced Flight Training, today announced the release of a new Human Spaceflight Training Program which is formally recognized by NASA. The training program, developed with NASA Shuttle Commander and Astronaut expertise, is for space tourists seeking to maximize their experience in space. In conjunction with the Human Spaceflight Training course, the program includes a Professional Spaceflight Training course for professionals entering the spaceflight industry as crew or other support personnel. Features of the course include a brief history, awareness of public safety requirements, technical and environmental, and physiological factors of human spaceflight, G-Force awareness and simulation, and how to move in microgravity. The Course features classroom lectures from former astronaut instructors as well as real world experience in select aircraft from the Flight Research fleet of forty training aircraft.
