Chicago and Carlisle, Pa., May 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green Thumb Industries (GTI), a national cannabis cultivator and dispensary operator dedicated to providing dignified access to safe and effective cannabis, and KW Ventures Holdings LLC will welcome the community on May 3 to RISE Carlisle for an open house, tour of the dispensary, an opportunity to meet the RISE team and to find out more about Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program. This will be before medicine is stocked at the dispensary to allow the entire community, not just patient card holders, to explore the site. RISE Carlisle will be GTI’s third dispensary in Pennsylvania, joining RISE Erie and RISE Steelton. It is the 12th GTI dispensary in the nation overall with a total of 20 GTI dispensaries expected to be operating in five states by the end of 2018. The open house will be from noon to 3:00 pm with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 pm.

RISE Carlisle is located at 872 Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle and will be open to patients starting May 5. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
