NEWPORT NEWS, Va., May 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP) announced the selection of Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) as its 2018 Corporate Citizenship Action awardee. The award is presented to a company located in the Hampton Roads area that emphasizes giving back to the community. The awards reception was held last week at the Marriott at City Center in Newport News.

Every year thousands of HII employees pledge their individual time and money to serve their local communities.
