ScaleFT to Showcase Zero Trust Access with Okta at Oktane18

ScaleFT delivers an intelligent Layer 7 authorization engine for servers and internal web apps – integrated natively with the Okta Identity Cloud

LAS VEGAS, May 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ScaleFT, the Zero Trust security company, today announced onsite demonstrations of its access management platform at Booth #EE6 Oktane18, Okta’s annual customer conference, to be held in Las Vegas from May 22-24, 2018.

The ScaleFT platform lets organizations of any size easily deploy Zero Trust access -- for human users and service users -- to internal resources such as web applications and servers. Companies that leverage the Okta Identity Cloud to manage identities for their employees, partners and customers can integrate seamlessly with ScaleFT to manage fine-grained access to their internal resources, with additional authorization controls such as device posture inspection. The combined solutions deliver organizations a comprehensive platform for Zero Trust identity and access.

As the traditional network perimeter-based security measures continue to break down, the market for Zero Trust security solutions is rapidly expanding. Forrester Research defines the Zero Trust Model as “a conceptual and architectural model for how security teams should redesign networks into secure microperimeters, strengthen data security using obfuscation techniques, limit the risks associated with excessive user privileges and access, and dramatically improve security detection and response with analytics and automation.”1 ScaleFT and Okta are both cloud-native, Zero Trust identity and access solutions that meet the demands of the modern workforce.

New Group Sync feature on display

At Oktane18, ScaleFT will showcase both the native integration with Okta for SSO, and a new feature in early access to automatically sync users and groups from Okta to ScaleFT via the System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) specification. This feature enables IT professionals to ensure consistency across the integrated products, where any change in membership is instantly reflected through an event-based automated workflow.

According to Chase Cunningham, Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, “Usability and command and control of assets across disparate data systems, networks, and infrastructure are critical in Zero Trust.”2 The new feature from ScaleFT further enhances its ability to deliver a true Zero Trust architecture for organizations of any size that leverage the Okta Identity Cloud.
