BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shipt, a leading online marketplace, today announced it will begin same-day delivery of an assortment of groceries and household essentials in Ocala, Key West, Lakeland and Pensacola, Florida. Beginning June 21, Shipt will launch same-day delivery in these markets from the following retailers:
- Ocala: ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Publix, Target and Winn-Dixie
- Key West: Gordon Food Service Stores, Publix and Winn-Dixie
- Lakeland: ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Gordon Food Service Stores, Publix, Target and Winn-Dixie
- Pensacola: Publix, Target and Winn-Dixie
Shipt originally launched in the state of Florida in 2015 and has since expanded its footprint to more than 20 Florida metro areas, delivering from five major retailers and reaching more than 540,000 households across the state. Shipt members will be able to shop fresh foods, household essentials and an assortment of other product categories unique to each retail partner including beer, wine and spirits from ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. To celebrate the announcement, new Shipt members who sign up prior to June 21 will receive an annual membership for $49 (regularly $99).
