ATLANTA, June 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mueller Water Products, Inc. (NYSE:MWA) (the “Company”) announced today that the Company will participate in the upcoming American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference & Exhibition (ACE) June 11 – 14 in Las Vegas.
As a 100+ year member partner of AWWA, the Company will be involved in all aspects of the industry leading event including workshops and seminars, competitions, the industry scholarship program, career fair and the exhibition.
Attendees can visit the Mueller Water Products booth to meet with water industry experts and learn more about the newest product releases including:
- A Smarter Fire Hydrant, which provides life-saving fire protection, monitors pressure and detects leaks in the water distribution system, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- The Super Centurion A-403 Fire Hydrant, designed to be installed and maintained by one person.
- A Class 250/300 Resilient Wedge Gate Valve product line with new end design that conforms to the ASME/ANSI dimensional requirements for Class 250/300 valves.

This will give utilities the ability to use existing hydrant assets as a hub for communication and technology deployment. Even if a utility doesn’t have a Jones hydrant, any existing wet barrel fire hydrant with a dome top can be converted to detect pressure and leaks in the distribution system.”
In addition, attendees can participate in virtual and augmented reality demonstrations to gain hands on experience with the product lines.
