Cowen Inc. Announces Closing of Public Offering of 7.75% Senior Notes Due 2033


NEW YORK, June 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cowen Inc. (NASDAQ:COWN) (the “Company”) announced today that its previously announced public offering of $90,000,000 million of 7.75% senior notes due 2033 (the “2033 Notes”) closed on June 11, 2018. The net proceeds of the offering, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company, were approximately $86,615,000 million and will be used for general corporate purposes, including any potential acquisitions, and repurchases, repayments or redemptions of its debt securities or other indebtedness.

Morgan Stanley, UBS Investment Bank and Cowen are acting as joint book-running managers, and JMP Securities, Ladenburg Thalmann and Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. are serving as co-managers for the offering.
