CALGARY, June 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Thursday, June 21—National Indigenous Peoples Day—the Fraser Institute will release a new study on Canada’s First Nations.

Specific Claims and the Well-Being of First Nations spotlights “specific claims,” which are filed by First Nations who claim that Canadian governments violated the Indian Act or historic treaty agreements, and whether the monetary settlements have improved living standards for recipient First Nations.
