The twelve room Georgian style country estate is located minutes away from Chestertown and is well known for its family style accommodations and relaxing country setting. “The innkeeper wanted to create a warm and welcoming environment for their guests after dark,” explained Jim Morris, Hospitality Outdoor Lighting Director for Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. “With little to no ambient light in its rural setting, the inn wanted to improve the arrival experience for guests and create additional opportunities for them to enjoy the grounds after dark.”
“After a design consultation with our Outdoor Lighting Perspectives team, a custom design was developed to address the innkeeper’s needs and once approved, installation began,” Mr. Morris explained. LED fixtures were installed along the façade, the drive, the entrance and along several pathways. In addition, string lighting was used to illuminate an outdoor seating area and numerous trees were accented with up-lighting.
