Columbia Care is the first medical cannabis operator in Delaware to offer pharmaceutical-quality cannabis-based medicines
SMYRNA, Del., June 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Columbia Care LLC, the nation’s largest and most experienced medical cannabis company, announced that it will open its first medical cannabis dispensary in Delaware to qualifying patients on Friday, June 29, 2018. The facility will be located at 200 S. DuPont Boulevard in Smyrna, DE. With the opening of this facility, also known as a Compassion Center, Columbia Care becomes only the second medical cannabis operator in Delaware and the first to offer dose-metered pharmaceutical-quality cannabis-based medicines.

Consistent with the Company’s vision and mission, the Delaware dispensary is designed with patient access, comfort and safety in mind. The Columbia Care Smyrna dispensary will provide a comprehensive portfolio of cured leaf products from numerous strains scientifically selected and carefully grown by Columbia Care’s team of horticulture experts. Accessing the Delaware Medical Marijuana Program
To access state-licensed medical marijuana Compassion Centers in Delaware, a Delaware licensed physician with a bona fide medical relationship with the patient must certify that the patient has a qualifying condition, and the patient must complete and submit a patient application to the Division of Public Health Medical Marijuana Program.
